New Service: IBX Nail Treatment in Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Even though I know the science behind why the IBX Treatment works, I still think it’s absolutely magical and will blow your mind just as much as it did mine!

I recently traveled to Portland, Oregon, for a Nail Expo. I really wanted to make some new connections in the industry, shop the trade show, and get some more certifications to continue learning and improving my services. I was very grateful to see a class on a product I’d been trying to learn more about, but had trouble finding much solid information on in my internet searches.

Anyone else like to be a total dad tourist type and wear socks and sandals? 😅

The nail industry’s best kept secret: IBX. This treatment is the only one of its kind on the market and has been in production for over a decade from the company: Famous Names. It was formulated by expert chemists and nail techs to solve an issue that almost every client deals with from time to time: damaged, chipping, or splitting nails. For context, most nail strengtheners on the market just create a temporarily strong film over the top of the nail so it feels slightly less flexible in the moment. These products do not actually help to strengthen the nail itself, and the effects do not last. IBX is one of those products that seems too good to be true until you experience it for yourself and hear the science of why it works. Instead of sitting on top of the nail, this product is formulated with nourishing oils and gentle but powerful monomers to penetrate through the nail surface and repair broken keratin bonds with tightly linked polymers. After just one application, your nail feels stronger, looks healthier, and doesn’t lose the effects.

I recommend adding this service on to your manicure if you deal with the following:

Nails that split or chip easily

Sensitivity and damage from picking off your gel

You feel that your nails are flimsy and do not hold on to nail products very well

It’s a proven fact that when layers of your nails are flimsy plate are removed in excess (I.e. over filing, or ripping off nails) that nail products do not adhere as well. I know the struggle myself, and come across many clients with damaged nails that have difficulty retaining anything we put on. I’m not saying IBX is the answer to all of our problems……. But I’m saying it’s definitely worth a shot!

Check out this before and after picture of my thumbnail (no filters or edits to the pictures – literally just zoomed in with an up-close lens attachment on my iPhone). I have put this nail through a lot over the last few months, and it is overworked, chipping, peeling, sore, and sensitive. This has come from removing nail sets a little too often for different classes I needed bare nails for, and something I 1,000% do NOT recommend. I did one IBX treatment and these pictures are taken less than 1 hour apart. It is really shocking to see them side by side. The treatment is not painful at all, but it feels more like a slight tightening – almost as if everything is being pulled back into place.

Here are some more before and after pictures that other people sent to the company who makes IBX. The marketing doesn’t need to be flashy – the product results speak for themselves.

If you’re interested in healing your nails from the inside out, add this service on to your next appointment. Le Travail Nail Studio is proud to be the only salon in Sioux Falls that is certified and offering IBX! Don’t miss out on the Nail Industry’s best kept secret!

Lots of love! ❤️
